Laura Phelan
Director, Aon Human Capital Solutions Ireland
Laura Phelan is an occupational psychologist with over 25 years’ experience working with organisations designing workforce strategies and practices to create and sustain individual and organisational success. Laura is an honours Psychology graduate from University College Dublin and holds an honours masters degree in Occupational Psychology and Human Resource Management from University College Cork. Over her career to date, Laura has worked in both a consultancy capacity and as a CHRO and as such has led various initiatives including large scale psychometric assessment, development and performance management projects, leadership coaching and competency-based development as well as supporting the rollout of organisational transformation programmes.
Laura is the Director of Aon’s Human Capital Solutions team in Ireland and as such much of her work has been centred on supporting organisations building agility and resilience into their working models for the future world of work.
Laura served on the council of CORU – Ireland’s multi-profession health regulator for four years and is a fellow of the Institute of Bankers of Ireland.
